PIECES, A NEW PLAY BY CHRIS PHILLIPS 12/19/11
I am busting-at-the-seams-excited to report I have joined the cast for PIECES, the new play from Chris Phillips. We will be doing a staged reading February 5th at The Celebration Theatre before moving into workshopping the play. Lots more to come on this project so stay tuned.....but for now, be sure to mark your calendars for the reading on February 5th!!!

I have the pleasure of working with funny ladies Wendy Wilkins, Anna Lee Lawson, Alessandra Rizzotti & Lindsey Jacobson for the very first installment of THROWBACK. THROWBACK is a style sketch/variety show that draws inspiration from the likes of: Laugh In, The Sonny and Cher Variety Hour, The Carrol Burnett Show & Rhoda. That's right....Rhoda.

I'm currently workshopping The Ladies Film Auxiliary Club's first project FINDING ANNIE with the incredibly talented Helena Wei, Monica Stufft & Mary McIlwain. Don't let the name fool you, gentlemen are welcome to join in the fun. Todd Berger came along for the ride one of our workshop days....that's him casually pointing at something.
Vacationeers Productions Presents: HOLIDAY ROAD
HOLIDAY ROAD is the new project coming out of the geniuses over at Vacationeers Productions. It is a collaboration of 13 directors exploring the American holidays month by month. I'm a lucky duck and got to work on Writer/Director Helena Wei's segment "November" with Doug Manley.
On location: LONE PINE, CA!!!
I had the distinct pleasure of shooting the film "3.14..." in historic Lone Pine, CA. Lone Pine's unique and beautiful desert landscape has played backdrop to Hollywood films since 1920. From The Classic Westerns to IRON MAN and (maybe most importantly) Kevin Bacon's TREMORS. Here's a picture of me with Chris Langley, the Lone Pine Film Commissioner. (Fun Fact: Chris Langley's dog makes a very classy appearance in "3.14...")

QuikTrip Commercial
Had a blast filming a commercial for QuikTrip with Academy Award (Or Oscar, as the kids call it these days) winning director Joachim Back & the ladies you see pictured to the left. If this QuikTrip commercial is anything like the other QuikTrip commercials, there's a really good chance it's going to be really good. I'll let you know when it's airing!

My friends THE NEISTAT BROTHERS have a new show on HBO. Their self-titled show is hard to explain and even harder to stop watching. Seriously. The show is awesome. Rainn Wilson even tweeted about how awesome their show is...that's the kind of awesome we're talking about here.

The experimental short film JORY that I workshopped with talented director Helena Wei & the wickedly handsome Kevin Brennan premiered at El Cid to an awesome response. Looking forward to watching the journey this film takes. Thanks to all who came out.
